DAILY CHECKS
WHEN YOU ARRIVE, AND EVERY MORNING, PLEASE UNDERTAKE THESE 5 checks….
CHLORINE SMELLL The tub will have been cleaned and refilled, adding some chlorine, before you arrive. When you first open it, the smell of chlorine might be quite strong. If so, we recommend you leave the top off for an hour to dissipate the smell.
TEMPERATURE: It should be around 37˚, if not, press 'Temp' once until the number flashes, then press again to increase/decrease to the desired temperature. If it reduces, wait for a few seconds, then press again until it flashes and start again. Note: It takes about an hour per 5˚ to increase/decrease the temperature.
FREEZING CONDITIONS: In freezing conditions, the tub cuts out = and does not attempt to reheat - it will remain in this state until the water reaches 12/14˚, It will then take some hours to reheat.
2. WATER QUALITY: Poor water quality may result in infection, so please test the water quality every day with tester sticks (under kitchen sink). Add Chemicals as necessary – usually 2-3 tea spoonful’s. Wait an hour before using the Tub (If you add too much chemicals, you may have to wait longer, maybe leaving the top off for an hour.
If debris, such as flies or leaves, fall into water or onto the bottom of the Tub, you’ll find a suction pump and net in the Porch (enter from the kitchen/door - it’s a bit stiff).
3. CHECK THE WATER LEVELS –if the water level drops below the filter input, it will damage the pump Therefore, please check the level after use, it should be about 2cm below the neon lights on the inside/front of the Tub, directly below the little control panel.
if it’s lower, e.g. after use, top up with cold/warm water from kitchen.
